In college at UCD I dabbled in a little yoga here & there. Then around 2001 attended a Hot Yoga class with a couple friends & became hooked on yoga. My personal practice has evolved over the years with more Flow & Embodiment focus. Finding Amba Movement was pivotal in healing from various trauma & stress. Having Meghan Makena as a mentor & diving deep into embodiment work ignited a passion to share these practices & deep desire to hold space for others. I’ve been an instructor of Yoga in Northern California since 2013. And an Amba Movement Creatress since 2019. I believe in living a life filled with gratitude, joy & the maneuvering through the messiness in between. Working with all the different feelings & emotions to best inform & guide on & off the mat. I love helping my clients better connect to themselves & feel more embodied no matter their surroundings. I offer private sessions, semi private sessions & group classes. I am on the board of the nonprofit Yoga Moves Us bringing free yoga to parks & programs. This organization has been near & dear to my heart for years; first as an attendee at McKinley, an assistant in various parks, park lead in Davis, Board Member roles of Secretary, President & now VP.
Currently living in Davis with my partner, son & Siamese cat, Punkin'.
